Sorry to hear about your Flickr account. I have many of your pictures saved.
Thanks David. I have all of my photos saved. What I lost was all the time and effort that went into first posting them onto Flickr, and then blogging them so that they would show up here. It's a pain, for sure, but I still have all my photos!

Thanks a lot FlipFlopsBoy! Picasa seems like a fine place to host photos. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same appeal as Flickr. Life goes on!
